2. AI Calculations & Estimation Margins

All calorie numbers, macronutrient breakdowns (protein, carbs, fats), ingredient callouts, and training volume targets generated by Calabi's AI (including meal photo scanning and label OCR) are computational estimates generated by artificial intelligence models.

AI vision models can miscalculate ingredient proportions or hidden cooking oils. Always review and adjust estimated values using the in-app confirmation tools before logging.

Stop exercising immediately if you experience sharp pain, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, or joint discomfort.

3. Caloric Safety Guardrails & Disordered Eating Safeguards

Calabi enforces hardcoded metabolic safety floors (minimum 1,200 kcal/day for females and 1,500 kcal/day for males) to prevent extreme restriction. The AI coach is programmed to reject requests that promote starvation, purging, or dangerous deficits.
